Disappearing islands? Time travel? Cigarette smoke that viciously attacks people? Yeah. I watch it.

Get excited. It’s back. The final season. The end of the road. Where, allegedly, all our questions will finally be answered. It’s been nearly a year, a long one at that, and in that time I’ve had a chance to ponder some of my own burning questions:

Q: Why is Ben so creepy?
A: His weird eyes. They’re big, stick out, and I’m pretty sure he never blinks.

Q: Why did we have to wait so long for the season to start?
A: Let’s face it, the writers wrote themselves into a convoluted hole in the first 5 seasons. So, they needed all that time to go back and watch all the old episodes, and make sure they found a way to answer the ridiculous questions and mysteries they posed in the past, or future, or present (case in point).

Q: Is it just me, or does anyone else think ABC should have combined Grey’s Anatomy with Lost so we could finally see that annoying malnourished tart die (see episode where she froze to death but came back to life)?
A: Almost positive there’s at least one more person out there that’s with me on this.

Q: I hate Locke.
A: Not a question, just an observation. He’s a sketchy bald dude that’s up to no good.

Here we go. 1 Hour recap, 2 Hour episode. It’s going to be a long night.

Yes, it would be awesome to have a robot you could control from the comfort of your own home. Yes, it would be nifty if you could do pretty much anything you wanted to with almost no consequences. But, that doesn’t mean you can make a movie that sucks, about those things. Surrogates was a horrible attempt at some kind of robotic social commentary, which is just one of the many like minded flicks released this fall. I haven’t seen Gamer, nor do I really plan on seeing Avatar, but I’m guessing they’re fairly similar piles of crap about the fear of robots infiltrating our lives. I wasn’t aware that this was such an imminent threat, let alone one that people cared about. Instead of making unfortunate films about Robots, let’s spend those millions on actually making the useful technology that these half-baked story lines revolve around. But for now we’ll have to settle for robots that bump around our floors vacuuming.

This is post number one. Let’s break the ice. My name is Chris and this a blog about anything, everything, and me. I was bored in class so I put it up. I plan to use this forum to discuss things that seem interesting to me while shamelessly advertising things I am or have been involved in. With that said, buy or sell a house in LA (call Norma 818-400-3794).
